2. Damnit!
How about a version for Windows users, MoveOn? You know it's only the most popular operating system in the friggin world?

5. No Thanks!
It takes too much control. Impossible to configure start-up options.

6. Hunh?
It doesn't take control...other than maybe .mov extensions. It loads quickly and the quality is good.

I'd say QuickTime -> Windows Media -> Real

7. Yes
it loads "extensions" (I used to own a Mac) that do not need to load on start up and there is no way to turn them off.

9. Not on My PC
It may load a systray icon but you can turn that off.

Just go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run key and look for any entry for QuickTime you don't want loaded at startup.

13. If you no longer use a Mac
The comparison is (ha ha ) Apples and oranges.

Quicktime uses no system resources unless you are using it, on a PC. On an OSX Mac some graphics processes are handled by Quicktime (though fewer than in OS9).

12. Dead easy!

Quicktime looks better and sounds better than Real or Windows Media, is less of a privacy threat than either, and is totally easy to install, for free.

You must be thinking of some other application

4. What, no lesbians?
Doesn't Kerry know that's the most important issue in the campaign.

I know this because "someone on the Internets" said so.

15. Here is why the ad is powerless....
because no high tier Democrat is willing to call Bush a liar.

It is time for someone like Joe Lieberman to come out and call Bush a liar and use this example, as well as countless others. It is time for Lieberman to take one for the Dem Team and trot his "moral" ass out there and call Bush a liar.
