Put enough postage on your Absentee Ballot! |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-15-04 02:14 PM by FullCountNotRecount
MM is reporting on his site that Traverse City sent absentee ballots out without telling voters how much postage. UGH! I am so worried about the absentee votes mailed in. I'd rather people go to county office to vote that vote by mail. Postal Workers please be vigilant.
Thanks.

I live in Florida but won't be arriving back there until November 1. My husband and I applied for absentee ballots just in case something would happen that we wouldn't be back in time to vote. (We have been in Maine for the summer.) I had made up my mind that no matter what, I would take the ballots to the P.O. to be sure we had enough postage. Surprise...there was even a notice with the ballots telling us to be sure to put 60 cents on each ballot. I'm sure if the repugs knew that my husband and I voted straight Democrat, they wouldn't have bothered to remind us. So for all of you out there planning to use absentee ballots, be sure to put the correct amount of postage on the ballots so your vote will count! If they have to send it back to you for more postage, you just might not have it back in time for it to count.
