Fahrenheit 911 will not air on pay-per-view on election eve
Saw this on cnn headline news. No details as to why. I can't find the story online anywhere. anybody have any more information?

I'd like to see someone give Chris Wallace a smackdown. He "reported" last week on Fox News Sunday that the Sinclair "documentary" was being aired as a "response" to Moore's PPV event. I guess since F911 isn't airing, there's no need for Sinclair to have their little shindig, huh?

1. Yeah, real liberal media stuff here...

You will have an anti-Kerry infomercial FORCED into your homes by Sinclair Broadcasting, but you can't CHOOSE TO BUY something anti-Chimp.

3. I could be wrong, but...
I believe that Michael Moore negotiated to have it aired on a broadcast network, but it fell through & then he moved to the PPV plan.

4. "Outfoxed" is on PPV, though.
Just watched it Tuesday on Comcast On Demand for anyone who's interested. It wasn't as entertaining as F9/11 but it was just as scary.

5. Just the night before, or at all?

(Also, a PPV airing is wholly different than funding airing of the anti-Kerry drivel on public airwaves. Slightly.)

8. As I understand it,
the election eve PPV event was to have been a special 3-hour show. The centerpiece would have been the film & the rest of the show was to have been a party with celebrities urging people to vote. I think that the Nov. 1 event will not air. I'm sure it will be on PPV at some point.

You're all correct -- PPV is entirely different than broadcast -- and folks who would buy the PPV event are already Kerry supporters. It's not like I don't already have F911 on DVD. I'm just ticked because of what Chris Wallace said. I think I will send him an indignant e-mail. Feel free to do the same.

9. As I hear it, it was a done deal, then
The PPV co. pulled out. Moore says from Repuke pressure. Big f**king surprise.

But he vows to keep trying. I seriously doubt now he can get it on before 11/2, but who knows???

:kick:

10. Can we pressure the PPV co. to go through with it?
JEEZ! It's not like anyone was going to have F911 FORCED on them, unlike what Sinclair is doing.
