WHY WE LOVE JOHN KERRY

After all the garbage about what a misstep mentioning Mary Cheney was, I thought it might be nice to have a positive thread. What do YOU love about John Kerry? :D

1. It may not have been a "mis step".

The Repukes must now explain exactly what Kerry said that was so offensive. The more they try to explain that the worse it will be for them.

3. He's a moderate and he'll protect the Constitution. Put down the bible

and pick up the bill of rights!

Kerry doesn't believe in injecting his own religion into people's lives. I respect that.

4. He's smart, eloquent, balanced, tactful, aggressive, and tall, dark

and fairly handsome. What's not to love?

5. I like the fact that John Kerry always tries to do the right thing

Like most of us mortals, he isn't always perfect, but his heart is in the right place. Furthermore, he is willing to listen and learn and be flexible--a sign of strength. I like him.

I would like him to be more outspokenly proud of his Vietnam anti-war activities, though in the current climate of militarism and fear in this country, I understand why he is more reserved about it.
