Dick Cheney as a member of Congress from Wyoming voted to raise taxes 144 times; Kerry reportedly 98 times.
So what does that make Cheney?

COMMUNIST?
If its looking bad in the last week or so, "Commie Kerry" will be the new RNC talking point.

Well, THIS liberal is fucking sick to death of being smeared by the so-called president of the United States. Isn't he supposed to represent all Americans, not just his wingnut followers?
Personally, I'm offended by constantly being trashed for my BELIEFS by this administration. Murderers, rapists, drug addicts like Rush never get mentioned, but I'm trashed daily for my liberal BELIEFS. It's like the fucking thought police.
Maybe this liberal, since I'm so unsavory to our POTUS, should stop paying my undesireable taxes to a government that scorns me. If I'm not good enough for them, my money shouldn't be, either.

I can't think of a person who best exemplifies being a liberal.
A man of integrity, character, courage (under real fire), honesty, and vision. The next popularly elected man to lead us out of the Bush Wilderness....President John F. Kerry.

From Webster.com:
Main Entry: 1lib·er·al Pronunciation: 'li-b(&-)r&l Function: adjective Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French, from Latin liberalis suitable for a freeman, generous, from liber free; perhaps akin to Old English lEodan to grow, Greek eleutheros free
1 a : of, relating to, or based on the liberal arts <liberal education> b archaic : of or befitting a man of free birth 2 a : marked by generosity : OPENHANDED <a liberal giver> b : given or provided in a generous and openhanded way <a liberal meal> c : AMPLE, FULL 3 obsolete : lacking moral restraint : LICENTIOUS 4 : not literal or strict : LOOSE <a liberal translation> 5 : BROAD-MINDED; especially : not bound by authoritarianism, orthodoxy, or traditional forms 6 a : of, favoring, or based upon the principles of liberalism b capitalized : of or constituting a political party advocating or associated with the principles of political liberalism; especially : of or constituting a political party in the United Kingdom associated with ideals of individual especially economic freedom, greater individual participation in government, and constitutional, political, and administrative reforms designed to secure these objectives
I'm not ashamed to be labeled a liberal whatsoever. What's really ironic is that they're WRONG, Kerry is *not* the most liberal senator. In fact, didn't he rank like 11th or something? Far from it.

Let's talk about the record of the Republican Congress. Care to veto Pretzeldent Bush? Naw, I didn't think so. I think wing-fuckin nut conservative is a bad word. I think their record as a crime family speaks for itself. (It'd speak a lot louder if the media took rove's dick out.)

This is excellent news. Just think about what this means.
1. The GOP has just basically admitted that the tens of millions of dollars they spent trying to paint Kerry as a flip-flopper was flushed right down the toilet.
2. Recognizing that, they've adopted a new strategy... but the strategy they've chosen makes claims directly contradicting their previous campaign statements!
Which leads us to:
3: The GOP can't dodge this one if the Kerry campaign or some journalist with a little integrity just calls them on it. One of the following statements CANNOT be true:
a) John Kerry's record shows that he blows in the political wind, takes both sides of every issue. He's a flip flopper!
b) John Kerry ALWAYS votes Liberal. He's the most CONSISTENTLY Liberal member of the entire United States Senate. He's the Alpha Liberal!
But the GOP has said them both. So they only have to be presented with one question and HOUNDED for an answer.
Which one of these statements do they want to say was a lie?
They're mutually contradictory, they can't rationally defend them both. Assuming of course that we were in any way inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they actually believed EITHER of them rather than recognizing the truth, that the real Kerry is found at neither of these extremes.
Something I, for one, am not inclined to give them.

Few people other than their stupid base is going to fall for it, considering that Kerry's proposals (as well as his rhetoric) are pretty damn conservative in ways that the average person responds to.
I think you're right about the internals. My bet is that they show the undecideds breaking for Kerry in key states- enough to give them pause about ho far they can go to steal the election again.
