WP - Kerry up 53/43 in key battleground states -

But the survey also suggests that Kerry continues to claim a large lead in key battleground states. In these 13 states, Kerry held a 53 percent to 43 percent advantage among likely voters.

A total of 1,555 registered voters were interviewed Tuesday through Thursday nights, including 1,203 likely voters. Margin of sampling error is plus or minus three percentage points for the overall results and plus or minus six percentage points for results from the battleground states and for the question asking views on Kerry's comment about Cheney's daughter, which was asked only of those interviewed Thursday night.

1. This is what I suspected. Blows a hole in the drivel they're
spewing at CNN.

2. I am worried now...
Man this worries me. I am glad that kerry is up but what I am worried about is this will guarantee Rove to pull out the nastiest October surprise known to man kind. It will be a sad day for American if Bush wind again.

3. yeah, you're right.....
i heard rove is threatening to take his clothes off and show his fat, naked, fetid body on national TV if kerry wins. apparently in recent polls, this scared the average swing voter more than terrorism.

5. Welcome to DU
I'm becoming convinced that KKKarl is over-rated. I think Sinclair is the October surprise. This is 10/15 already.

4. This stuff drives me nuts!
What fact is more important?

A) Poll shows people didn't like one of the things Kerry said in his 3rd winning debate.

B) Poll shows Kerry has substantial and large lead in 13 key battleground states.

Guess which one's the Repub spin machine would pick?

Argh...

7. I don't care!
I'll take it. A huge lead in the swing states. We couldn't ask for better news! :bounce:

Heck, let them bury it. I don't want their impending rout out where they can see it and do something drastic.

6. And there are some things that Rove can't control or spin
like the breaking story about the Mutiny in Iraq.

9. Why oh why, then...
is CNN shoving the electoral map in our faces -- the RED states dominate and their EV's show Bush way ahead. They have over 300 for Bush and under 250 for Kerry.

What's the deal with that?

10. The deal is...
That they want to keep us all glued to the TV for the balance of this election cycle!! They can't take the drama and contention ending this far ahead. What the hell would they have to prattle about??

Keep working for Kerry!

Onward and upward!
