PBS-Mark Shields say's Bush camp worried
Shield's is saying from what he is hearing the flip flop issue wasnt working and that they were forced to change there strategy. Shields said you don't spend 60 mill over 6 months and then a few weeks before the election, abandon your approach unless it is not working.

2. They have a new approach.
Is it something regarding the issues that are important to all of us? Hell no. They've made a huge issue out of the fact that Kerry mentioned gay Mary. It is astounding to me that so many people are so upset at the fact that he mentioned her. I could see if he said something nasty about her, but for crying out loud he MENTIONED her and they're acting like it's a mortal sin. Forget the fact that Bush screwed us all into thinking Iraq was the right target in the war on terror and now OUR kids are dying. Kerry brought up the gay child of our precious vice president, God forbid.

Are people really this stupid to think that this should be a big deal?

5. maybe..
Maybe the SOB's are worried because there will be so F'n many on-scene monitors watching every move made during the electronic voting in Florida...

...or maybe it's because they Florida legal system is debating at the last minute whether to ditch Die-Bold the touch-screens and go with the optical scans?

Or maybe.. they just released that no matter how much they LIE and CHEAT, end the end, they've already bought their ticket to hell..

By the way.......

If, like they said on Lou Dobbs, the could still possibly switch over to optical scanners at the last minute (pending the court ruling) =WHY= can't they use both systems so that they can compare the results???

Better safe than 2000 again!

7. do you think it's possible shields is being deceptive?
it's hard to believe the GOP heavies want to win this election, that is if they can get a deal to avoid going to jail etc, to keep the lid on the true story of last 10-15 years (not just the 4)....and mark shields is a finess man, stroking, calming, distracting the news to protect the powerful. By saying the busheviks are 'worried' etc the idea that they really want to win, when that's probably the last damn thing they want.....
There are vastly powerful forces at work here, that precede the bush crims but must deal with them w/out alerting WE THE PEOPLE to the fact the entire election process is a sham, and someone somewhere made a horrific mistake letting the neocon fundies bush goofs or however you label them, get control of the power levers, even within the limits that all elected US administrations allowed to operate.....Bush has blown entire pretense of superiority, or refinement, or decency, with which WE THE PEOPLE were kept in the dark.....
I'm no genius (wish i was :() but it seems obvious that bush cannot get reelected: it would damn entire country in WE THE PEOPLES' eyes not to mention the rest of the world's! Even the goofiest freeper secretly admits Kerry must be next CEO of the Big One (as Mr Moore called it) if only because americans were hapless victims of last election, and were too law abiding to overturn the wrong even had the media out and said it was wrong (they did the opposite) thus explaining america to everyone and upholding self image of nation's innocence...by watching newsmedia, and the stock market, you get some idea of how closely the powerful are tweaking the replacement of the bush gangsters, not too much for or against, just business as usual for the media to hammer into the public awareness...business as usual.
>the 60 million mentioned is chump change to the ruling elite(s)

10. I heard this on NPR this morning
Their assessment: They went so overboard with the flip flop story that they made Kerry into a caricature, and it was shot to hell when people watched the debate, and found him to be firm, resolute, and articulate. Now they got nothing.
