Cutting off the sale of oil or withdrawing their investments would be easier.

Saudi money in the United States financial markets has not been a good thing for our democracy.

King Fahd is a vegetable and, as such dosn't rule the country. That job goes to Crown Prince Abdullah.

Pledges on oil in exchange for our withdrawal from Iraq. It will be business as usual; expecting otherwise would be naive.
Kerry is not a revolutionary and the Saudis are our daddies.

They have their man in the WH now. Their citizens were involved in the 9-11 catastrope. Many repubs are curious about their ties to *, as are all Dem's. Their country has past it's production peak, and their people hate them.
I guess they will get paranoid, and start to tone down their hateful fundamentalist schools.

Not all Saudi citizens believe the same thing.
And their country may or may not have peaked. Assuming it hasn't, it will soon...

Why are they a triad? If we can figure that out, maybe we'll have a clue. Or maybe the question is whether Kerry will listen to the neo-con right wing, Sharon, and the Crown Prince. I hope not.

Saudi's are not all that enamored of W or his dad. I read something recently (sorry, no link) from a writer who spent some time in Saudi Arabia and said that the rich and powerful are hoping for a Kerry victory so that the region will have some hope of returning to a stable state.
