2. Why?
Cutting off the sale of oil or withdrawing their investments would be easier.

5. It's going to change anyhow. That old king can't live forever.
Saudi money in the United States financial markets has not been a good thing for our democracy.

8. The old king dosn't rule the country
King Fahd is a vegetable and, as such dosn't rule the country. That job goes to Crown Prince Abdullah.

3. They'll either learn to lick Kerry's ass and like it, or...
help the deposed neocons with the next 911.

4. More money for everyone
Pledges on oil in exchange for our withdrawal from Iraq. It will be business as usual; expecting otherwise would be naive.

Kerry is not a revolutionary and the Saudis are our daddies.

6. Poorly would be my thought.
They have their man in the WH now. Their citizens were involved in the 9-11 catastrope. Many repubs are curious about their ties to *, as are all Dem's. Their country has past it's production peak, and their people hate them.

I guess they will get paranoid, and start to tone down their hateful fundamentalist schools.

10. Possibly. Indeed, did Timmy McVeigh run on orders by Pres. Clinton?
Not all Saudi citizens believe the same thing.

And their country may or may not have peaked. Assuming it hasn't, it will soon...

holding the hand of Sharon on the right and the Crown Prince of SA on his left (or vv). They are supposed to be enemies.

Why are they a triad? If we can figure that out, maybe we'll have a clue. Or maybe the question is whether Kerry will listen to the neo-con right wing, Sharon, and the Crown Prince. I hope not.

13. I don't know about the princes, but a lot of wealthy
Saudi's are not all that enamored of W or his dad. I read something recently (sorry, no link) from a writer who spent some time in Saudi Arabia and said that the rich and powerful are hoping for a Kerry victory so that the region will have some hope of returning to a stable state.
