Her "red bra" is actually a skimpy knit tank top with spaghetti straps. Inappropriate for the president's daughter on a campaign trip, but not underwear.

The "blanket" is probably a poncho. They are all the rage this year, and letting one slip off the shoulder is supposed to be very cool and fashionable.

Slate.com actually has an article up right now about the return of ugly ponchos as a fashion trend.

Or the "blanket" might just be a wide stole-like wrap. Not unusual at all, really--just not very attractive.

I must say, considering the allowance they undoubtedly have for clothing, the Bush girls dress as though they buy their clothes from WalMart--and as though they usually get the wrong size. They have no sense of style, color, or shape in their clothing.

I happen to think they are drunken spoiled brats, but I don't understand people who try to claim they are ugly. They are both very cute. Jenna obviously tends to have a bit of a weight problem (though a little less beer would probably help with that), but she is stiil very pretty, if somewhat moonfaced.

Not Jenna is maybe a bit too thin, but she is also pretty. (Yes, I know her name is Barbara, but "Not Jenna" is what Steve Gilliard calls her, and I think it's funny and suits their relative notoriety.)

Anyway, I think the whole family is spoiled by privilege, including these girls.

a lot. Moreso than with anybody else. In fact, I cannot think of anhyone else that Jenna has chosen to flirt with and be photographed doing so other than McCain. The photo with her dad looks stilted and she is slightly pulling away from him--Laura does the same. None in that family looks as though they share the slightest bit of love and warmth.

And that is a Victoria's Secret bra, not a tank top and it is inappropriate for a twenty two year old daughter , who is on the campaign trail to promote her father's presidency, to be dressed like that. Being artistically challenged, neither of the two of them have the slightest idea of fit, color, line and grace. They see something on the stage at fashion shows, that are meant to be outrageous for the publicity it brings, and they think that is the hot "fashion" and they buy it. Indeed, it never occurs to Jenna that her rather chunky upper body, will not look good in that article of fashion worn by a skinny, flat chested model , who thiness is calculated to show line and grace. She fancies herself a model, like her cousin. Whatever she spends her ten thousand dollars on at a fashion show, she does it no favor by her sloppiness and unconcern about it's appropriateness and grace.

Indeed, she does look like a slut that hangs out in the bar till the wee hours of the morning. Oh wait--she does!
