I'm tired of de-freeping polls. |
|
As a Soviet Canuckistani who can't get over the border very easily, I guess there's not much more I can do, but with only two lousy weeks to go, what's the proven value in evening out the responses to a poll on CNN, or the Bumblefuck Beacon, as compared to, say, eloquently taking the piss out of idiots on Yahoo message boards, or passing out flyers, or getting people to register to vote?
I say, let 'em get freeped at a hundred percent. Do you really think the undecideds will take them seriously?
I feel like I may be crossing the line in telling you guys where to expend your energies. Please take this post with a grain of salt, knowing that those of us who have no say in the outcome are just as anxious, as you Americans.

1. OK, first, what is a Soviet Canuckistani? |
|
Second, I can see your point, but it rattles everyone to see * ahead in ANYTHING, since I, for one, think that this is the worst president in recorded history and is screaming for an impeachment.
Think of what we did in one of the debates. Tweety was whoring * won, and then the MSNBC poll came in heavy for JK and he changed his mind.
We CAN change the world. :kick:

4. But the MSNBC poll wasn't web-based, was it? |
|
Wasn't it a phone-poll?
BTW "Soviet Canuckistani" is what Bat Buchanan referred to us as when we wouldn't send our troops to Iraq. At least I think it was PB. And I think it was over sending Canadian troops to Iraq. I guess Afghanistan, where OBL was, just wasn't good enough for him.

There are a few Canadians I'd like to apologize for, in no particular order:
Alanis Morissette Jim Carrey Anne Murray Bryan "Everything I Do, I Do It for You" Adams Barenaked Ladies
Oh, I know there are more.
To those of you who like any of the above, no offense.

3. The problem is, letting them stay freeped is not good for our side. |
|
There are others out there that will vote either way and the results would then show Bush winning on a lot more. We need to hang in there for another 17 days. We've come too far to quit now. Please stay with us.

...is demonstrate the strong motivation of a BASE, and they DO INFLUENCE ditzy people who do not understand how things work.
If you do not want to do it, fine, don't, but please don't demoralize the rest of the base. No one is ordering you to do it, but demotivating posts aren't really helpful. I should think anyone here would be happy, if they have the time and energy, to contribute to the cause in this fashion, but if it doesn't, do something else--write letters to the editor, call radio shows, send bitchy emails to lying media outlets. Speak up in whatever way you can.
But whatever you do, do not forget the CAUSE--the cause is getting the chimp gone. Keep that uppermost in your mind.
