Who will win the Turnout War and Why?
I think the Democrats have a big advantage here. Even if someone does not think Kerry is that great the amount of hate for Bush will get them to the polls anyway. Their are many more Democrats registering to vote than Republicans as well. Also, with Bush's low approval numbers and many moderate Republicans upset that Bush is too conservative and spends too much, I think an awful lot of Republicans will stay home.

1. we will, but...
it will be hard for people in swing states and minority areas to actually vote, due to voter roll purges, challenges, and outright physical intimidation. we will have more voters go to the polls, but i don't know how many will actually get to vote.
