MM just offered F911 movie to Sinclair for FREE!!

Michael Moore just did that on Leno!

8. Yep, Big Time!

He turned square to the camera and made the offer, loud and clear.

Then said.. prove you dont want to be biased, I'll give you the movie to air for Free.

Game on!!

13. More pressure on the advertisers

Thats the key...

Then the one-two knock out is the Moore film for free.

Takes away ALL their lame excuses.

9. They'll probably say, "It's too long."
But I bet Moore could slap together a 60 minute cut if he wanted to. ;)

15. With their stock price, they can't turn it down.
It was a hit at the box office and it JUST came out on video. They's make a killing on advertising.

I don't see how they can turn it down.

36. Sinclair will expose themselves to poss. class action suit from stock-
holders if they fail to pursue an obvious profitmaking situation which a F911 network premiere would be. It has only aired pay per view. This is sweet.

26. Wrong!
I think you're being glib, but the truth is we need Michael Moore outside a Kerry Administration in order to keep his feet to the fire as well. Moore's point is that not only must all media must be accountable to the people, all politicians must be accountable -- Democrats included!

If Kerry were to get in and be another Clinton (now don't pretend he was as pure as the driven snow either), Moore should be there to expose his corruption as well.

I'd like to see the kind of breakthrough in media and politics that bring into being a transparent democracy, and I get the feeling these days that it's not too far off, "by popular demand" -- and by popular outrage.

17. Will Sinclair back down???

Offering the movie for free (a box office record-setter no less) is something they should take, especially since they are 'not biased'.

Cant wait to hear their heads spin off making excuses.

Sinclair has lost all cover now!!

If they turn down his offer they not only make it seem they are biased, but they anger their stockholders for turning down windfall profits. Like to be there at the next stockholders meeting? Just buy some Sinclair stocks-it should be interesting.

Yes our power is growing.

If garbage is presented as news, then (eventually) people that want actual 'news' will seek it out and find it.

If you havent been there already I would suggest you check out www.dailkos.com

There are a lot more, if you're not familiar just ask.

41. Not to be pessimistic but...
I don't think Moore's distributor would allow it to be aired for free on any network/station. He was trying to set it up with PBS as I recall and his distribution company wouldn't allow it, hence the PPV route. I think it would be terrific if they did pick up the gauntlet but it won't happen. It's great that he challenged them though because this will show the true bias at work at Sinclair.

I think we need to get some kind of coverage about this if possible. They spent 2 days on Cheney's daughter, why not a day on this?
