I didn't know that Kerry talked about the draft on the campaign trail

But I'm so glad he did. After listening to the Mike Malloy program this evening and his discussion with Greg Palast, my hope for this election was somewhat dampened. However, I also have always believed that it would take a draft for Americans to pick up the pitchforks, so to speak. With Kerry talking about the strong possibility of a draft to crowds today (Friday), I'm greatly encouraged to point of whiplash.

The need for a draft is more than obvious given the plans of the administration. Soldiers are now beginning to refuse assignemnts. They're going to need way more soldiers and Amercians, right or left, just won't sit for it.

Reason being they each have a son of draft age. That's a fear Bush also instills.
