Last night Tucker Carlson said that not voting is an honorable thing!!!!
This is paraphrased because I cannot find a transcript anywhere. I just happened to catch the last few minutes of the show and I still can't believe even Tucker would say that. IMHO, he should be removed from "journalism" and especially banished from public television.

Did anyone else hear this?

2. Good for him.. The only one's that listen to him are Republicans
and it is an honorable thing if they don't vote. It means they do indeed honor their country by not voting for the scum that has taken power. Few Republicans can bring themselves to vote for a Democrat. If they can just stay home and not vote at all this election they can be honorable to themselves and their country.

6. I agree
For a Republican that is disappointed with Bush, yet can't bring him/herself to vote Democratic, it is honorable to stay home.

3. He also said on Bill Maher's
Edited on Sat Oct-16-04 09:32 AM by OhMyGod
program several weeks ago that is was ok for a journalist to report troop positions because journalists should be able to report the truth. Maher pressed him asking about endangering the soldiers, and Tucker stood by his statement.

It was all rather incredulous.

That bowtie has cut off the blood supply to his brain - me thinks.

12. Don't you ever get so pissed and have had enough?
Why do these people (Tucker and say Ann Coulter) have jobs??? What they say is slanderous, dangerous, not credible, mean, awful and a adds nothing to journalism or the world.

Free speech. But big jobs on CNN?? OR as talking heads? Why?
Go on saying that black is white, but for God sakes, don't keep them on the NEWS saying it.

5. He hates Bush. He wrote a column about it.
But he won't vote for Kerry. I gather from what he insinuates that he isn't voting.

8. The Douchebag and the Dick
Ladies and gentlemen, meet Crossfire's new line-up. From the left, James Carville and Paul Begala; from the right, Robert "The Douchebag of Liberty" Novak and Tucker "Bow-tied Dick" Carlson.

10. That's because Tucker Carlson doesn't vote (seriously)
A while back one of the newspapers looked at some voting records. They reported that Tucker Carlson does not vote.
