2. Nixon on Bush 41 and Barbara
Recently read that Nixon in 1972 was asked about G H W Bush, at the time Chairman of the RNC.

To paraphrase: "G H W Bush?..a total lightweight, maybe he's the kind of guy you might appoint to something, but that Barbara, she's ruthless".

The author called it the highest compliment Nixon could give, meaning Barbara.
