3. Among RVs, they oversampled Repukes
In 2000, 4 percent more Dems voted than Repubs. The Newsweek poll surveyed 4 percent more Repukes than Dems, an 8-point swing. I suspect the LV numbers are even worse. Plus, Kerry leads independents in this poll by 11 points. No way he loses if that's the case.

5. Throw this one in the garbage
Respondents skewed toward the GOP. Also check this out and tell me that this is an accurate poll. Whatta joke!

"Bush has a clear advantage with women, who prefer him 49 percent to 43 percent. Kerry has a slight edge with men, 50 percent to 46 percent."

15. You had no problem replying awesome to the post where I
used realclearpolitics.com? Yeah, it's a raging right wing sight, but it takes the averages of all the polls. The state polls that we need to win we're either leading or within margin of error.

13. Kerry is in good shape
We've registered more voters, so any state we're trailing within margin of error is up for grabs. Bush is the one who is in trouble as more and more polls show him being finished in Pennsylvania, and fading in Ohio. We can lose Florida, split Iowa Wisconsin as long as we take New Hampshire, Ohio, PA, Oregon (which is in the bag in my opinion) and New Mexico. We're in good shape, and to win, all we need to do is get out the vote.

14. Don't Worry
The polls are directed at specific area codes fairly guaranteeing a desired outcome.

Bush will be selling his ass to Macdonald's after America makes minced meat out of it.

DON'T eat at Macdonald's! LOL.

16. They think that there is going to be average Dem turnout
The fact of the matter is, Democrats are registering people at record numbers across the country, and that the Repugs are scrambling to maintain their base. These things aren't being reflected in these polls, they are poll a thousand of so people and pluging in percentages. They seem to think there is going to be record turn out for Repugs and average for democrats. If polls with these formulas are this close, then it really looks good for Kerry.

17. Everybody just vote, and it will be OK
The poll just says we have to vote. If the first time voters and younger voters go to the polls, we will be OK, even according to this poll.

22. It's effectively a dead heat anyway, same as last time.
In that poll, I mean--they say so themselves. A two point difference one way or the other doesn't mean much. And yes, they still are oversampling Republicans. Also: swing voters have a significant lean toward Kerry. That matters.
