Does anyone here work for or affiliated with MOVEON.ORG?
I'd like to get the ANTI-BUSH videos submitted for my DVD Video magazine.

1. I've heard that before!
B-)

My suggestion is that you address Moveon.org directly.

2. Extremist organization that makes us look bad
Tasteless, Hitler references...not once, but twice. With all the money they've got, they're "mainstream" and what they do reflects on the Democratic party. Our approval with the mainstream declines every time they pull some stunt like that. MoveOn has to curb its image as hateful, otherwise we'll all pay the price.

* is behaving like Hitler. * is invading sovereign countries without provacation to seize their resources and grab power. Does that ring a bell?

6. Oh, bullshit
Moveon.org has done more for the Democratic Party in the last year and a half than the Democratic Party leadership has done. Moveon.org rocks, and they're now a force to be reckoned with.

Those ads were two of over 1500. The whole idea was for the public to rate the videos, and the 2 with the Hilter references got low ratings.

It's like on a message-board there are controversial posts.

8. "They" (moveon) didn't do that. Somebody submitted an ad
to their site, and it was picked up by cyber warriors.

18. Don't even make that suggestion
MoveOn's ads made headlines for days- and it wasn't positive. Dispute that.

19. NO- don't blame me
Don't blame me just because I'm aware how some well-intentioned efforts play in the media. The coverage over this played out in the media- and it wasn't helpful. MoveOn should NOT have associated themselves with this- at very least, offload it onto a lesser known organization so they didn't share the blame. If you're going to be a visible Democrat group, you must avoid the appearance of impropriety of this variety.

13. Printer
I've noticed a number of your posts and considered them quite thoughtful, insightful and articulate.

This is not one of them.

I suspect that you may not be aware of the incredible array of parallels between George Bush and Hitler's rise to power. They're uncanny, and quite frightening. I hope someone will come along who has some links for you -- mine are gone thanks to a hard disk crash some time ago.

It's worth reading up on. You MUST.

Our very survival MAY depend on mainstreaming the understanding that Bush is making us into a totalitarian fascist state (albeit possibly a "kinder, gentler" version, but there's no assurance of that either). Keeping quiet about the similarities is NOT going to serve us well. At all.

20. I appreciate the remark
...but somehow I don't see the Bush-Hitler parallel. He is corrupt, incompetent and shady but I just don't see the link to Hitler. Sometimes I feel like I live in two worlds. One- the real world where such a comparison is rightly considered extreme. Second- DU, where the mere mention that Bush, however bad, is not Hitler is considered "Rovian".

Do you have any idea of how many American citizens are of European descent? Do you have any idea of how many of us appreciate our historic European allies?

I was in the Army and served with the 45th Medical Company, stationed in Ansbach, Germany who's motto is DUSTOFF EUROPE.

Dustoff is Helicopter Medivac. Just thought I'd correct you on what is obviously something taken out of context.
