How nervous will you be on Nov. 2?
Can you imagine, when the results start coming in from OH, FL, PA, etc? **Shivers** It'll be a fun night, and hopefully we'll wake up to President-Elect Kerry on Nov. 3!

1. do you seriously think
the election will be settled on November 2nd? I believe every election from here on out will be contested for at least a month.

7. The pundits are already forecasting another "Florida"
Are they trying to soften us up, mellow us to prevent anyone from storming the bastilles?

12. They're forecasting Colorado as "this election's Florida"...
...I posted this earlier today:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=1089225&mesg_id=1089225

I believe that November 2nd will simply be a day on the calendar, during which people will vote. It won't be "Election Day." We won't go to bed that night (or wake up the next morning) "knowing" who out president is.

I wouldn't even attempt to guess when the "final" results will be in...but both sides are gathering up their legal teams already (as you will see in the article referenced in the thread above).

10. BELIEVE!
From now until Election Day, we all must think how excited we'll be when the papers read:

KERRY WINS PRESIDENCY

!!! Can you imagine? The flood of posts on here, the relieved people interviewed by news stations, and Kerry's acceptance speech that we triumphed!

Have faith guys!! We can do it!!

14. Not too Nervous, Probably Tired
I'm signed up to work the phones and act as a runner on election day. I also promised to bring a boatload of food to our local headquarters workers on Tuesday. I'll probably be too worn out to be nervous.

15. I've decided to avoid the rush. I've been nervous (what an
understatement) for a long time now. Say like three plus years. Once I saw the manuvers that put bush* in the White House, including or maybe especially pictures of him and his 'cabinet' in the Oval Office before it was even fully decided, I've been freaking. I've lived and longed for the day when that place can be sanitized of their presence.

November 2nd? I have high blood pressure. I'll probably have a stroke. And I certainly don't expect it to be over on November 3rd. I think that the real fight begins that day.

I've got a few republican co-workers that I've half convinced to vote for Kerry.

Every day I have to combat the latest BS coming from the *'s PR machine to keep them
from switching back, thank god for AirAmerica keeping me so well informed.

The good news is that judging from the numerous Kerry signs
and my phone-banking experience I think the Phila Burbs are now KerryCountry.

When Kerry's president, I swear I'm going to sleep for a week.

24. I'm a wreck already.
Gonna have to go back to that manicurist. Saw her on the day of the debate, for all four debates. If my nails aren't acrylics, I won't have fingers.
