Is exit poll system, which is check on election integrity, running again?
Do you remember in 2002, the news services scrapped their shared exit poll service because of a variety of problems. I know a lot of us were concerned because it would make verifying outcomes more difficult and it easier for the GOP to cheat.

IIRC, exit polls in 2000 gave the win to Gore? Is that why they didn't have them in 2002?

Does anyone have any more information on this issue? How worried should we be about this?

1. I Believe There Will Be Exit Polling...
I read a discussion of how it will be handled in Newsweek....

2. Yes
They're hiring. I inquired about doing it, but I think I'm going to work as a volunteer for Election Protection instead.

4. And we can't win it
unless every person who is entitled to vote is afforded the opportunity. And I'm not sure where they'll want to send me.

5. I'm not calling you naive, either, but
You might want to check out the Georgia election of 2002.

6. There are MANY, MANY ways to steal an election
Many of them involve not letting people vote in the first place.
