He did a snide thing about stem cell research, and how, him being in a wheelchair now (recovering from broken hip), he could hope to walk again with stem cell research. Bill Press has a son who is in a wheelchair as a result of a disease, and he smacked ole drunken Novack, but good!

On edit, don't know if disease is the right word. It's something the Press son was born with, I think.

19. That broken hip must have been much less severe then they claimed.

It's rather amazing to have a man at his age bounce back from such a major injury. I'd guess his hip was already slated for work when he slipped, and they played the situation up somewhat for his benefit and the press.

20. I'm personally stunned...My mom broke her hip when she was in her 60's...

She spent a week in the hospital and 3 months in a swing bed facility before she was able to return home. His injury must have been VERY minor.
