Who can we sue for such a miscarriage of our most fundamental right?

1. At our polling place,
the Town Clerk can make copies of the ballots, and those can be used. We have the ballots with the arrows that you complete, and they're read by the optical readers. Xeroxed ballots have to be hand-counted. (just talked to him on Thursday about this)

3. make sure you read this:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=186&topic_id=2582&mesg_id=2582

and find out how the Illinois laws relate. There is an apparent hazy area between the new fed. laws and WI state law. I'm planning on raising this issue with our town clerk on Monday. This directly affects people who vote during 'extended' hours, and even those people who are in line BY 8:00 (poll closing time).

Find out NOW, while there's time for people to do their legal research!

4. IMO, t he large increase in registered voters makes it likely there
could be a shortage of ballots, polling places, working machines.

Remember in 2000 there was a major scramble in St Louis over long lines after the stated closing times; also in FL.

In 2002, heard there were shortages in AR and TX in the afternoon in precincts primarily democratic.

SHORTAGES--'UNANTICIPATED'--EASY WAY TO STEAL AN ELECTION

Hasn't there already been a fight in Milwaukee over the questions of enuff ballots being available?????
