Won't lend his own campaign $2 million that he had promised. Barbara Boxer is a shoe-in, and this is a safe seat!

2. I thought he might give her a run for the money
but happily, he cannot. This also proves the RNC didn't attempt to lend a hand, either. I love my two Senators!

5. Don't forget Obama...Is Illinois a shoo-in or what?
It would cost the party SOOOO much to win this seat if Obama wasn't our guy and Keyes wasn't theirs. Illinois is now a cakewalk!

6. Guy sounds like a shifty, tight with a buck asshole. Repays loans made
by himself to his campaign, doesn't pay off loans from other sources.

<snip>
Jones has a personal fortune that's been estimated at as much as $50 million, much of it coming from a Central Valley energy company he founded. It's unknown, however, how much of that money is available for his campaign.
<snip>

If he's so damn rich, he can afford to float his own election campaign but sounds like he's afraid to in the event he loses. Doesn't want to bet on himself so expects others to pay the bill.

nominee, Tim Michels, because Russ Feingold is a shoo-in. $1.2 million that they know would just go down the toilet.

If Feingold is a shoo-in, how can Kerry possibly lose Wisconsin? Not possible...
