The Grand Refusal.
Bush Lawyer Anticipates Delay in Tally (Translation for the Washington Post: Bush Lawyer Acclimating Public to Second Coup d'Etat) --Dictator Bush's top campaign lawyer said yesterday that the winner of next month's presidential vote may not be known for "days or weeks" after Election Day if the contest is close.

Oh, but we will not wait 'days or weeks' to respond to the second coup d'etat, which is on its way, as sure as night follows day. This Washington Post gem, dumped on us early Saturday morning during a low news cycle (as it has been for the last four years, when the Bush dictatorship had bad environmental news to announce) is coded instructions for the public to be 'patient' while the Bush terror team's lawyers (even thought we all know how much the lords of hypocrisy - the Republicans - claim to hate 'trial lawyers'), spinmeisters, and coupmeisters acclimate the public toward *accepting* a second coup d'etat. While Faux News spins, we will be carrying out The Grand Refusal , and navigating our way toward restoring democracy in America.

1. We had best be better prepared this time - no more knuckling under to
preppie-outfitted goon sqauds flown/bused in by Rove-r to steal this election...
They want a revolution, they're sure gonna get one if they try that shit again. They might as well just own up now to the theft in 2000 if that is the attitude they are gonna take.
FUCK THEM! NO FUCKING WAY WILL WE STAND STILL FOR THAT. This country is too precious and our freedoms too important.
Traitors, all of them...do NONE of them honor their oaths of office??
(Rhetorical question - of course they don't.)
That's why they all belong behind bars for the rest of their miserable little lives.

4. Devil's advocate....
Generally speaking, liberals are supposed to be known for not owning guns and Republicans are known for owning guns....

That said, what if the Republicans put an immediate halt on firearms sales on November 3rd?

That means that liberals, by and large, are outgunned... and not figuratively.

What then? Can't storm the gun shops, I have been in quite a few in my lifetime and the owners are all wearing at least one sidearm at all times...

Peaceful protest? Falls on deaf ears.

General strike? Easy, liberals on the unemployments rolls, conservatives without jobs now have jobs.

What then???

7. Well golly, at least they'd lose the NRA endorsement.
Maybe the anti-government gun-nut "militias" would take over.
Dunno...I have thought of what would happen if they took some extreme measure like that. Although I bet if something like that DID happen, it just might jolt enough true conservatives, true patriots, true Americans besides us, along with all of us who ARE gun-owning Democrats/Liberals/Progressives/Independents, to take the fuck over.
Whaddya think?

5. Yup, not putting up with it again.
I am not enduring another four years of a whackjob Bush dictatorship. And, to compound the misery, Maggot Face would be acting as if he has a (phony) mandate, and be even *worse,* if that is *possible.* Moreover, Bush will show no restraint, because he has no (pseudo) 'reelection' sword hanging over his head.

6. You're welcome, and here is part two of that essay:
"The Revolution Will Be Webcast!"

"Now hear this: Any sign that the election has been stolen again, and we are calling for a complete walkout, civil disobedience, complete refusal and the shutting down of the system, per the Grand Refusal...

What are the TRIGGERS, what "election" events will trigger the Grand Refusal? The following list is by no means exhaustive. The Bush regime may very well alter their approach to stealing the election this time. But, this is a list that will guide us."

(Both essays are by CLG Founder and Chair, Michael Rectenwald)

3. I wonder if Kerry and his teams know about that?
that is quite scary. They will do anything to snatch the victory from Kerry...

9. I hope so! They better not 'Wellstone' or 'Carnahan' Edwards...
...that is the term I have been using in order to let the Rove terror team know that 'we are on to them.'
