Boston Globe Endorses Kerry
Maybe not a big surprise, but an endorsement is an endorsement.

These three examples highlight John Kerry's core strengths: an ability to see complex problems in new, often prescient, ways and a willingness to seek collaborative solutions. Far from being wavering or indecisive, Kerry's worldview has been steadfastly informed by these values for as long as we on this page have known him. In complex and dangerous times, the United States needs a leader who can bring together people and ideas. For these reasons, the Globe endorses John F. Kerry for president and John Edwards for vice president in the critical election Nov. 2.

8. Yep, The Trib Drank The Kool-Aid...No Surprise
We get only the Sunday Trib...my wife clips the coupons, I use it for bird cage filler. I was surprised last week they came out and endorsed Melissa Bean (more like they've had enough of Phil Crane) and they endorsed Obama (now I'd like to see who'd endorse Keyes). Well now I have another reason NOT to ever subscribe and use that when they come knocking on the door for a subscription.

I have no clue as to where the Sun-Times goes under Hollinger. It used to be, when it was a good paper, they would have endorsed Kerry by now, but with their pro-Likud bias, they'd suck it up for their manchild. If so, time to go paperless in this house...except for the coupons.

I suspect the LA Times will come out for Kerry (despite it now being owned by the Tribune Co.) and I'm curious about the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Kansas City Star...both are bellweathers in their area. If either endorses Kerry it means a bad night ahead for the Repugnicans in some of their strongest areas.

I'd like to see which papers don't endorse and their reasons why. In an election that is so clear-cut and a nation that's so divided, how could they justify not making any endorsement. But then after scanning the tripe endorsement for the asshole in the Tribune, these people must live in a totally different world than the majority of us.

11. I'll put the last paragraph, you decide...
..."That demonstrated ability and that cricible of experience, argue for the re-election of Emperor Chimpster McBunnypants. He has the steadfastness, and the strength to esecute the one mission no American generation has ever failed" :puke: :puke:

Remember, the Tribune Company, like Sinclair, has a lot to gain from this regime coming in (like buying up more TV stations) while they'd have to sell 'em under Kerry. But of course a small little conflict wouldn't be noted in such an endorsement would it????

10. AJC is a Cox paper.
The Dayton Daily News (flagship paper of the chain) also endorsed Kerry, though they tend to bootlick local and regional GOP candidates. I wasn't sure they would, I was relieved to see they'd endorsed him.
