I tell ya...it's very hard to stay positive these days. Everywhere we turn it seems there's more bad news and I'm starting to wonder if we aren't fighting a losing battle.

I'm not trying to be chicken-little but I am seriously starting to panic especially with Ohio trending for Kerry and WI, along with Fla starting to not look good either.

I really didn't pay much attention to the horse race numbers because of the EV but that's not looking for good these days either.

I don't get it. Why is anybody even worried about how we're doing? A lot of the so-called "battleground states" aren't even in play, if you really know what's going on. Take Ohio, for example. Wally O'Dell (Diebold CEO) guaranteed to deliver the state into our hands regardless of the popular vote, with his magical touchscreen machines. And Florida--good Heavens--does anybody think Jeb can't deliver HIS state? We have the new and improved Felons list (baby, if your name is Tyrone Jackson you ain't votin' in FL), not to mention Diebold, ES&S & Sequoia machines all lined up for us in the critical counties.

So chill, everyone. Like Lenin said, it isn't how the votes are cast that matters. It's how the votes are counted. And we have everything going for us.

Listen, I've been as guilty as anyone else of lifting freeper posts and pasting them here, but it's starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Both groups deserve a place where they can talk about their political beliefs without harassment from the other side. I wish we could come to some sort of gentlemen's agreement about not doing this anymore. I'm not holding my breath, though.

The effects of the debates take longer and longer with each progressive debate. The latest polls are ust starting to show the effects of the third debates, one because they were not as conclusively by Kerry, they were not watched by as many people, therefore it took longer for the second debate to effect the polls, almost 4 days, and the effects of the last debate will take over a week to have their complete effects in the polls.

Bush had little lead in most polls, in fact, every poll except one tracking fell withing the margin of error. Kerry is doing nicely.

I.E. they assumed the electoral votes favored them, but as they check scoreboard going into NOV they see that they are in trouble on both counts.
