Some Good News From SE Ohio
Some good news from SE Ohio, where Kerry will be speaking today! I've said before that the voters in Appalachian SE Ohio could make or break the Kerry campaign in the Buckeye state, and it looks as if K/E efforts in that area are paying off! :)

Kerry has eyes on undecided

Jeff Barron, PDT Staff Writer

WAKEFIELD — Democratic Presidential nominee John Kerry will talk about job creation and ways to improve the economy during a rally today at a Pike County farm.

“We wanted to attract people from Ross, Pike and Scioto counties,” he said. “He’ll be touching on the hot-button issues that affect people in the area like jobs and health care.”
Basham said Kerry will be looking to attract the 28,000 swing, or undecided voters, in Scioto County.

“He’ll be wanting (to) motivate his base supporters,” Basham said. “And he will also let the swing voters take a look at him. According to our polls, we’re about 70-30 for Kerry in the county. We’ve got a great shot this year.”
