OK - what do you all make of this - fighter jets last night

We live an hour west of D.C. Late last night (11 p.m.) two fighter jets came over the house (we are NOT in the flight path, BTW) and literally shook the house. They were travelling in excess of the sound barrier. The only other time this happened was in the week after 9/11.

Mrs. DB is sure they signal something (surprise?).

Now George is at the WH all day today.

Tin foil, anyone???????

The weekend prior to 9/11, my family and I were in D.C. on a short vacation and my dad just made the comment that he had never seen so many military aircraft (he was a lieutenant in the Italian Army) flying around D.C. (and we had been there many times)....

It is my personal and unwavering belief and feeling that the administration knew full well something was about to happen.

5. Air-force one retuning to D.C.

I live about 30 miles south of where Bush was giving a speech yesterday in FL. Working in the back yard, I heard and saw a fighter jet making high lazy circles over the area, providing top cover for Bush. The two jets you heard may have been on the same mission, covering Air-force one returning to D.C. . Why go supersonic though? Maybe returning to base after mission complete and can still make the officer's club for some Sat. night fun.

Cheney will not cancel NORAD with a terrorist drill like they did on 9/11 a second time.

OH I hear there is going to be a drill on election day. If you are in the Washington DC or New York area keep your cameras ready. Networks pay good money for Video footage which would help pay for gasoline.
