Kerry needs to Put um on Notice! No Voting Fraud Allowed!!
I am sick, sick, sick about all the dirty tricks they are playing with the votes.

IMO,Kerry needs to hold a major press conference with a team of leaders all standing with him, dressed in Black and looking serious!
( Leaders such as Carter, Dorothy Height,Coretta Scott King, Clinton etc.)

He needs to say to the American people...

"In the last few days, I am appalled by the kinds of things that I have been hearing about those that are already working to steal votes in this election."

Then he needs to site examples!

Finally he needs to say," In my leadership position in the Democratic party, I want to put every Democrat on notice right now.
I do not want ANYONE to do ANYTHING that will disenfranchise ONE SINGLE VOTE for the other party! Not one. Those voting for my opponent have just as much right for THEIR VOTE TO COUNT, as a Democrat's vote!"

"I call on President Bush to immediate denounce the activities of his brother and their friends in Florida(site instances)to stop this illegal activity."

"I call on President Bush to come out and express his strong views to the American people that EVERY VOTE IS PRECIOUS and that he is calling on Ashcroft to punish, to the fullest extent of the law ,ANYONE or ANY GROUP that even thinks of vote tampering!"

The ball is then in the court of the Republicans.

Those are my thoughts, what are yours?

1. wouldn't matter much
Edited on Sun Oct-17-04 11:26 AM by The Doctor
it would be mostly talk. i am not sure what good it would do. who would enforece it? Jeb Bush? Ashcroft? Fat Tony?

Need to face the fact that to a great extent the fix is in.

Edit: your plan presupposes that repubs care about the constitution. If you think they do, time to take your head out of the sand

3. People are hearing it from us

But no one is listening!

We read the papers and stay in touch with the latest. The huge majority of the American people are still thinking that Republicans would not dare stealing this election too!

In my view,Kerry needs to have his voice heard.

We all know that Bush will not respond and that will also be noticed by the American people.

5. I believe the Undecided Care

I believe the Democrats care.

and

I believe that there are still Republicans that care about the Constitution.

It is the ones that are approving the dirty tricks, like KKKKarl that could care less about the Constitution that I want to shine the light on.

16. Perhaps I was not clear

My main pt. is that we have got to do a whole lot more about voter fraud, not after the election but BEFORE the election.

It is in the best interest of every citizen and future generations that we stop it.

When GW turns his back on it and Kerry stands up for EVERY VOTE COUNTS, not just the votes of democrats, it will be a blessing for America.

2. No, WE need to put them on notice!
WE, the American people, need to stand up and say "No MORE!" and do it right damned now.

Quit leaving the responsibility for democracy to someone else. Get off your ass, take to the streets, tell your elections officials you have no intention of standing for it.

VOTERS need to make it loud and clear.

Not some imagined hero - but you, me and everyone in between.

6. I am off my ass

I have helped to register over 1000 voters and talked to thousands of others.

That is why I know that WE getting off of our asses, or ME getting off of mine, will be like a grain of sand on a beach.

If WE want to take to the streets to express our opposition to voter fraud,WE need to do it quickly! Like tomorrow!

I will be marching right with the others that are mad as hell about the dirty tricks that are going on. Where is the March and the taking to the streets taking place?

But one thing I do know, after talking to thousands of people...The majority of those registering to vote still believe their vote will count in this election.

They are naive and Nov. 2nd is far too late to let them know that once again, Their vote DID NOT COUNT.

4. I think bush has already washed his hands of any and all guilt, like
any pontious pilate, when standing on air force one, with his arm around senator mccain a couple of days ago, he said, "the voters will decide the election" ... i don't recall what preceded that statement or what followed it ... all i know is that i thought to myself, "you lying punk, you sound too damn cocky, too damn sure of yourself, you know your brother and your father's thugs are rigging the election in your favor and you don't give a darn.. in fact, you are quite please about it..."

13. Exactly..the fix is in

That is why our National Democratic Leaders need to speak up, loud and clear on this issue.

If the election could be held today, Kerry would win!

But if their fix remains IN" and we do not shine a FLOOD light on this issue now,we are doomed.

This, IMO, is the most important issue facing us right now.
Nothing else matters if, after the fact, we realize and address the fact that Bush stole the election.

14. I totally agree with you...for months i've been e-mailing my county
commissioners on the problem of no paper trails voting machines. their hands, they say, are tied due to state law which would need to be changed to have paper trails installed in the machines, something that jeb bush refuses to do and that when asked by georgie stephanopoulous this morning what was he doing to make sure voters trusted the voting system he had the great chutzpah to answer "i am talking to george stephanopoulous"--!!!!!!!!! as if that had anything to do with making sure that we could HONESTLY count, or recount our votes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People like Bev Harris have been doing a monumental job to build awareness about voter fraud and Black Box voting.

The issue is that they are doing many more tricks that do not involve BBV.

I read on the internet that RepubliCONS are going into Urban areas and parking their cars so that the Democratic voters will have no place to park near the polls!

They should be arrested for doing that, but nothing will happen to them. Election day will have come and gone before the people even begin to notice what the tricks even were Nov. 2nd.

That's what I am talking about.

They need to keep hammering it until the election.

10. He just said
That there will be people watching and doing exit polls and making sure the things that happened it 2000 don't happen again. He mentioned flyers handed out in urban areas gave a voting date of a week later, voter intimidation, etc.

11. That is great but...

Many in the urban area do not watch MTP or FTN or read the New York Times.

Somebody needs to have the Young Voters in Urban Areas get flayers out, post them on trees, leave them on the seats in buses,to get the word out.

I still say, KERRY needs to put a voice to it. KERRY needs to send a strong message to everyone about this, it has to make the national news.

Perhaps the best way that he can do it is to include a sock it to me one liner in every campaign stop! There are now lots of reporters covering him now. Some,of the media actually shows him speaking to the crowds.

He has to shine a bright flashlight on this fraud business.

We can do it in a small way by talking to our friends etc.

Our voices are not enough before Nov.2!
Nov. 2nd is far too late for us to do something about it after the fact.
