Racial/gender makeup of Swfties vs. all VetNam vets.

I didn't see the whole ad, but it seemed to me that all of the Swifties in their new ad are white males. Weren't there a lot of minorities and some women in Vietnam?

weren't most of the US prisoners of war from the Air Force? Did the VC and NVA customarily take prisoners for transhipment back to Hanoi?

I know the Deer Hunter guys were grunts but was that really common?

If most were Air Force officers, like McCain and Singleton(was that the guy who ran for VP on Perot's ticket?), well, that would be a good clue as to why there weren't any people of color in that ad. The AF pilot ranks were not hotbeds of equality in the 60's and 70's as far as I can recall.

Any one in a position to agree/disagree?
