but thats ok, got more.....I put 'em up in the daylight, wear my opinions in the open, will talk openly and honestly with anybody that wants to talk about why I feel the way I do...these skunks just sneak around in the middle of the night, thinking they're doing something "cool". Guess I sleep better than them for some reason....go figure!!

I've read many things you can do about it
1. smear dog poop on the edges 2. place a small medical warning to see a doctor because of ? 3. glue small amounts of glass 4. place a rhetorical statement next to the sign ( free speech etc.) 5. place in the window also
They can steal your sign but won't steal your vote.

2. Get a new one, coat it with Crisco and cayenne pepper. |
|
It'll be a chore for them to pull it up, and the first time they rub their eyes or any mucous membrane on their bodies (including their naughty bits!) they will be in freaking agony!!
Just make sure you wash YOUR hands thoroughly, and tell all family members and fellow Kerry supporters not to touch your sign.

Wreathes the supporters of W. As if taking down a sign will somehow ward off defeat for their God. Ha, ha!

There is an election where as I am supporting the Democrat in a local Vermont House race. On Friday, when I was driving toward the County Democratic HQ's, I noticed 5 lawn signs for the Republican incumbent. I proceeded to donate to the DEM challenger at the HQ's.
On Saturday, NONE of the five signs for the Republican were there. I am a person who believes that, "what is not good for the goose, is not good for the gander".
I was pleased that the signs were no longer there; I would like to think that all of the people on this short street within the first 8 houses originally posting their signs had a "change of mind". I really doubt that that was the case.
A "fair and balanced" local report from someone who used to do the same thing to the 1964 Goldwater lawn signs when I was fourteen. I was wrong when I did it then, and, it is wrong still.

It just means that we make them nervous.
Get another one and don't let them win!

8. I rigged mine up with sewing pins |
|
I bought some red duct tape and used it to border the entire sign and the stand as well. In bedded in the duct tape are about 50-100 sewing pins giving it a nice kind of stainless steel cactus protection.
No missing signs here anymore.

9. Pic on page 1 Washington Post |
|
The top picture on the front page of the Sunday WashPost today shows a Maryland woman with a large sign in her yard.
The sign says: "In 2000 they STOLE the election. Now they STOLE my KERRY sign."
Maybe you should put up a similar sign.
