There is shit a brewing folks, you don't take a day off of campaigning in a heated rivalry like this to spend a Sunday at the White House. You can bet he's not watching football. These cynical bastards are hunkered down wondering how to steal this election. YOu can bet on that! Expect 'SOMETHING' soon.

6. I don't know why they would lose a day for that
they could have done that from the road. You may be right though.

In fact that thread said it would be from New Jersey. I think it's something more sinister....just me.

about after the last debate (if indeed he wanted to talk to him).

23. The only thing that gives me pause about that
is in the last AQ vid release the speaker was talking about "if we are killed or captured you must keep up the fight". That has never been said on an AQ vid before. It usually is full of threats and encouragement for their terrorist minions. It made me wonder ...

7. Halloween
You heard it here first. They are going to use their fear tactics and do something on Halloween which falls on a Sunday. They will pose it as a good versus evil type of debate. I can almost hear it now the candy is tainted or some other type of BS.

33. Strategically speaking, Halloween would be the best day for them to act.
Total domination of the news cycle on Monday the first with no time for the hysteria to die down before the election.

Wouldn't put it past these sleazy fucking bastards :grr:

20. were I aQ about to strike
I would send a warning directly to * first, so that
1. in case of complete success, I could make sure that everyone knew he failed.

2. in case of failure bush's election would be guaranteed. Which, while a loss of the battle, would result in a strategic victory.

Either way, it will be used to rally the troop on both sides, though it will work far better for aQ.

Both sides want war, and believe they will win. I tend to be more optimistic that aQ is right. So far, we have them right where they want us.

..like "are the bombs in place in the schools so we can get the attention of the security Moms"...........Strategy to them is always something unethical, criminal and immoral.

34. Interesting... from the article:
Q: What have the opposition parties said?

A: Critics of the war have questioned why the Americans need 650 British soldiers to “back fill” for them when they have more than 130,000 troops of their own in Iraq. Shadow defence secretary Nicholas Soames has suggested that the deployment would be a “political gesture” to the Bush administration ahead of next month’s presidential elections. The President is anxious to convince voters that America is not carrying the burden of bringing order to Iraq alone. He also wants to demonstrate that he does enjoy international support for his policies and refute claims by the Democrat challenger John Kerry that he has left the US isolated.

I just finished reading Franklin and Winston by Jon Meacham and remembered that the married name of Churchill's daughter was Soames. In Nicholas Soames' biography on his webpage, it notes that he is the grandson of Winston Churchill. I also learned what the "Shadow Cabinet" is in British politics: They are the opposition members who are the point man for each of the cabinet departments.

30. That's right...it's strange that he's in
the white house and not out campaigning like he has been for the last four years..especially this close to election time.

When he loses they can blame it on that one day he took off.

31. I predict that tomorrow
Duhhbya will announce a RED terra 'lert for OH, CO, PA, FL, NV, WI, IA and other "swing" states from now until Nov. 3. He'll say there's a very credible threat to voting precincts in those states, and most specifically to Democratic strongholds within those states. Anyone in those areas attempting to vote on election day will be in extreme danger.

Seriously; it could just be that his handlers recognized that even losing a day would be preferable to watching Short-Fuse George disintegrate utterly.
