Sign/Bumper Sticker count in SW Colorado
I found a ripped up Kerry/Edwards sign in my front yard today. It wasn't mine because mine are all placed in my front windows...anyway I decided to take a walk around my neighborhood and see who supports who. The Kerry/Edwards stuff outnumbers Bush/Cheney stuff by at least 10 to 1, even after last night's vandalism. The funniest thing is that the only Bush sign on my block sits in the yard of some people who were convicted of poaching elk a few years ago. How appropriate!

4. Is it nice there....?
I have only been in CO for 5 years. I would like to buy a couple acres of land this year with the intent of placing a dome on it in the next few years..How HOT does it get? Is there anything to do. I'm a big city gal?

5. it's beautiful
really. You could check out www.godurango.com, but the photos are not really of Durango, mostly the mountains within an hour or two drive from here. There is a college, but not too much "city" stuff to do. It is much more of a place for people who enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, mountain biking etc. We have several 14,000 foot peaks near here. The closest cities are either Albuquerque or Santa Fe, each about 200 miles away.
