Did the DCCC ever decide whether he was "viable". He is a Dean Dozen.

I would say he is "viable" now.

2. As much as I want Bush gone,
if someone gave me a choice between DeLay and Bush, I'd have to think long and hard. If we get rid of DeLay, our chances of impeaching Bush are much better..

3. Unbelievably good news!!!!
I haven't yet read the link, but was just thinking about looking up the Houston Chronicle to see if they've endorsed Bush yet. What a joke for a city of that size and diversity of culture to have only a single news paper. I'm so glad to hear about lack of support for DeLay. What is it with these Lay's? Kenneth Lay, DeLay, and Tim LaHay! Riddance to all of them.

Thanks for the link. A Houstonian in Lubbock.

5. Dean rallies for TX Democrats. This was a great event.
http://www.dailytexanonline.com/news/2004/08/23/TopStories/At.Rally.Dean.Encourages.Texans.To.Run.For.Office-703947.shtml

SNIP..."Umbrellas spotted the crowd, protecting the audience from the light rain. About 1,000 attended the event, said Fran Vincent, the lead organizer.

Before the rally, Dean headlined a fund-raiser for candidate Richard Morrison, who hopes to unseat House Speaker Tom DeLay. Sunday's appearance was Dean's last stop in Texas before the presidential election.

"He's rallying the troops," said Rachel Lance, a UT government senior. "There's a lot of untapped potential in Texas because people aren't running in the races, and people aren't spending their money."

Organizers said they hope to tap that potential through rallies and workshops. Democracy for America and 21st Century Democrats hold workshops across the country to teach people how to move beyond voting to participation and activism. With 400 people registered, this weekend's workshop was the largest the two groups have held in any state."

6. Just read the link, and forwarded it to friends, family.
"Morrison faces an uphill battle in this race. The Houston region and the entire country will be better off if he succeeds."

The Houston Chronicle
There is a just God!

Has the Chronicle endorsed Bush?

Crawford Iconoclast (love the name) endorsed Kerry.

Any word from the Dallas Morning News or Houston Chronicle?
