Frankly, I don't MIND the polls saying we are down a few going into Nov 2.

Frankly, I don't MIND the polls saying we are down a few going into Nov 2.
First, I think the polls showing Bush ahead are WRONG. I think we have the momentum, the interest, and several points on Bush.

Second, I think by having the polls at least show we are down a few points, it keeps all our people VERY interested in casting their vote for Kerry on November 2nd.

I'd actually be worried if the polls showed us up a few points because I'd fear that many would not cast their votes thinking we were going to win anyway.

Does anyone else feel this way too?

2. I'm not comfortable being down more than 1.5 points on Nov. 1
I wrote that weeks ago and will stick by it. I'm talking about the average margin among the most reliable pollsters. We also need to keep Bush's average poll number at 48% or lower. Kerry can overcome a small deficit via undecideds, who will break our way. That is our trump card. Our registration "advantage" and motivation "advantage" are overstated to absurd degree. It's not like the other side just heard about this election a few weeks ago, or won't show up on November 2.

3. It Scares The Hell Out of Me
Not that I think that the polls are accurate, I don't believe they are.
They favor the Republicans so consistantly that one has to assume
they are deliberately biased, and to a greater extent than ever before.
Why?
Because they in on the Repub plot to steal the election.
