Okay, people, time for some OUTRAGE!!
OUTRAGE that billions of dollars earmarked for Iraq reconstruction is missing without a trace...

OUTRAGE that the government was informed TWO MONTHS ago there was a problem with flu vaccine and just ignored it...

OUTRAGE that US companies were involved in the Iraq Oil for Food scandal...

OUTRAGE that Bush refuses to take a physical until after the election...

OUTRAGE that someone in the White House outed Valerie Plame and the investigation is still dragging on...

OUTRAGE that our troops STILL don't have the training & equipment needed to get the job done...

OUTRAGE that 1100 service men & women have died for a WMD threat that DID NOT EXIST!!!!

These are the things that should be dominating the news cycles. Yes, it's more titillating to talk about things like Mary Cheney's sexuality, but let's see what we can do to get the media back to reporting the NEWS for a change!

2. I don't want to hear about his physical....
to hell with bush. Kerry is gonna kick his little bushie ass. Asking why bushie refuses to take his physical is inviting bushie to take free TV airtime. Shhhh. If he takes his physical and something is wrong with him, they'll play the sympathy violin and we're screwed.

3. Hear, hear! I'd support a moratorium on non-sunbstantive posts in

GD 2004 and GD until after the election is decided. We need FOCUS.

I have said repeatedly today that the flu vaccine shortage is THE big issue that can bring about a Kerry landslide the Diebold fix can't undo. It already has begun to impact millions of Americans, the people who need flu shots and can't get them, and it will impact everyone when flu season begins. We may be facing something on the scale of the 1918 global influenza pandemic. That means illness and deaths but it also will impact our economy, our health care system, potentially everything about our society. I am truly frightened about what may come of this. Those who aren't need to review the history of civilizations affected by plagues and epidemics.

Bush* is guilty of malpractice. In the final analysis, he's the man in charge of protecting us from disease through his health care policies and this is a massive blunder.

He knew in September, when Blair did. The British government acted to find an alternate supplier for vaccine while there was still time. The Bush government sat on its hands.

As another DUer said, the flu may cure us of the disease currently in the White House.
