Just Finished Going UpRiver -- WOW!
I turned 17 in 1968, went off to college, sat in, demonstrated, and wrote letters to more than one dearly loved friend serving on the Mehkong Dellta. I've worn POW bracelets. I've traced those names on that wall. The hurt never fades even when the wound heals.

It's so apparent that John Kerry was born to lead. He survived the crucible of war, raised his fist for right not might, and continued to voice truth.

It is so obvious that he is a MAN -- a whole, considerate, amazing human being.
And the -- the --- the --- "person" who is running against him is so much less. That "person" isn't even fit to wipe John Kerry's boots.

Even if he wasn't AWOL, * couldn't come close to the empathy, class, and devotion that John Kerry's life reflects. This man took fire while that asterisk laughed in some bar.

If you haven't seen this movie -- it's important. You must. No matter what.

I just pray that we win this election, because if not... in four years you will finally be seeing flag-draped coffins, funerals, veterans returning angry, and protest in the streets again. Because this new wound will fester and nobody will be able to ignore the ooozing shamelessness of it.

Find a way to see this movie and drag anyone who doesn't "get it" with you.

Peace.
