Was anyone here at the Kerry Rally last night in Wakefield? |
|
We went and it was FANTASTIC! It was out in a corn field, and the crowd was estimated between 10 to 12 thousand, the largest crowd in this county's history! People were pumped up and in a great mood. I live just a few miles from where it was held and it took us an hour and a half to get there.....the traffic was bumper to bumper for MILES. It was dark when it was over and everyone was parked all over the corn field and a lot of us couldn't find our cars. I thought we were never going to find ours and my legs were killing me from standing so long and then tramping through the corn husks...(they were cut down) but it was really rough trying to walk on the stubs...God,I never was so glad to finally see our car.But I swear.....it was worth it. I would do it all over again. GO KERRY!!!!!! ON TO VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!! :toast:

2. I read an interview with the guy on the tractor |
|
who was mowing down the corn stalks the day before the rally. He was so excited to be preparing his field for the event.
Glad to hear the event way out there in the middle of nowhere was so well attended. These are the rallys which are going to make the difference.
