Is it just me? or do you think that Kerry MUST win in a landslide. |
|
I am thinking if Kerry wins by 4 states or less, Bush will have enough people and resources in place to fight the results. Am I of target here?

2. I think he SHOULD win in a landslide |
|
How could this miserable failure now in office be rewarded with a second term? He has divided us, put us in debt, caused the death of thousands, made the US the object of hatred around the world, neglected the environment, and piled lie upon lie while relying on his Texan charm and "faith".
Kerry must win a landslide in order to be able to effectively govern. I find it hard to believe he will not win a decisive victory but the polls, which I do not read except foe the constant stream of DU headlines, are troubling. Yet I remain hopeful that the American voters will set things right.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=102&topic_id=908579Off target? Not at all. Anybody who thinks they won't try to overturn the results of a close election has their head in the sand IMHO.

14. Same here. I'm chilled to the bone over what I'm seeing. |
|
Shredded registrations, voter purges, deliberate ballot shortages in urban areas, anti-Kerry propaganda being broadcast in swing states with the blessing of the government and plans in place to overturn results.
Impeachment and the 2000 election theft were just the appetizers. I have a feeling they are about to serve the main course.

9. If he wins by more than 570 votes, it's a mandate and a landslide ! |
|
Bush saw his appt by the Supremes as a mandate. If Kerry wins, it's a fuckin' mandate to do whatever he wants. That's the way I see it. George W Bush set the standard. He will definitely have a mandate to fix the healthcare system.

Considering the state this country is in and the incompetence on the part of the Bush administration, John Kerry should win in a landslide. However, he probably won't because there is a huge group of people who are too blind to see what's in front of them. It's extremely frustrating to see the ignorance so many display. I think John Kerry will win, but, unfortunately, its going to be close.

Bush didn't win the popular vote OR the electoral vote for that matter. They can just go and fuck themselves and get over it.

Kerry's victory must be so overwhelming and so incredible that the Bush criminals will not be able to reach into their dirty bag of tricks to steal it.
KERRY IN A LANDSLIDE!! KERRY IN A LANDSLIDE!!

...if we get out there EVERY DAY BETWEEN NOW AND NOVEMBER 2ND. The night of the 2nd, when the polls are closed, we can relax and enjoy a favorite beverage. But we gotta EARN that beverage.
