After Kerry is sworn in, will you give him the same free pass the freepers give Bush? Will you worship him as the second coming? Will you be hypnotized by the Blue Koolade?

I am not an unthinking citizen. I have no doubt he'll do 10 million times better than bush and I also have no doubt the media will be on him like white on rice and attacking him DAILY (and I do mean daily) but if he screws up, I will say so.

5. He will be a wonderful President |

That said, it will take less than 10 miniutes for the rethugs to start impeachment proceedings after he takes the oath of office. We can't relax even after he is in the WH. We need to keep fighting.

And Clinton didn't get a break from me either. Not till the freaks launched their attempted rightwing coup of my government. That got me behind the Big Dog real quick.

7. How Can You Start Criticizing Him Before or When He Takes Office? |

How Can You Start Criticizing Kerry Before He Takes Office?
He will not have DONE anything, good or bad, as POTUS until AFTER the Inauguration in January.
The minute the election is called, I'm going to get sh*t-faced on a Blue Kool-Aid bender that will rival any of Dubya's wildest booze/coke benders.

9. I didn't criticize him at all |
|
My question in merely this: We criticize * supporters for their blind faith in their leader. Are we just the same, but in a different flavor?

8. Loose Lips and the Long, Hard Slog We Are Facing |
|
Now even after we sober up from our post-election Blue Kool-Aid bender, I think we need to be careful about what we say and about what information we propagate.
The vast right-wing conspiracy is going to kick into high gear the minute they stop crying in their beers (could be months). Anything critical we say may be used as ammunition by the VRWC to get rid of Kerry and place another Repug in the WH in 2008.
Keeping discipline and not propagating (even legitimate) criticism is NOT the same as Kool-aid intoxication. It is a rational action, given that we are at war, and loose lips sink ships. Don't ever forget that we ARE at war. The Repugs will not give up, they will get increasingly viscous and destructive and try to regain power.
The bitter political war with the Repugs is going to be a long, hard slog, with no end in sight.
