1. The only people I hear talking about Hillary are
Faux News watchers. Everytime she appears, "I think she's running, Will she run? What would a Hillary entry do to the race."

I'm sick of this. The Clintons gave away our easy moral high ground. Everytime I get into an argument with a Repube it's "you can't trust Clinton, perjury."

13. When I hear it it's usually them trying to associate her with Clark.
Disclaimer: I'm not posting this trying to smear Clark myself. I actually like him a lot.

But yeah, I think it might be that they're afraid to attack Clark directly because it'll look like they're dissing a general, but they're trying to associate him and the Clintons as in indirect smear. I've seen FReepers say stuff to the effect of "sure he fought a war, but it was Clinton's war." Shows you they'll smear anyone.

Even in the infamous clip where it's Clark vs. Fox News (Clark WINS!), the reporter asks him if Bill Clinton cast the deciding vote:

http://www.foxnews.com/video2/player.html?4908&FOX_News_Live&Setting%20the%20Record%20Straight&wvx-56

Step back and think about this for a second...we're losing soldiers and control in Iraq, it looks like a mess we can't get out of, and here's someone who says he's got a plan to succeed there. And he's not just some armchair guy that thinks he knows what he's doing but doesn't, he's a four-star general. Wouldn't a reporter want to ask him about the plan? But no, he asks him about Bill Clinton, takes some quote by him and twists it around to make it look like he doesn't appreciate the troops...unbelievable.

11. Okay, I'll say it. . .
I was a Clinton supporter, I think Hillary is one smart cookie and a truly dedicated Senator to her state.

There. Now go away for awhile. Please.

I am a loyal Dem and I have MAJOR, MAJOR, MAJOR Clinton fatigue.

14. It's a great line because it rings true.

We need to go with someone already in the race, though. It just needs to be someone other than Dean. We're dead with Dean.

Think there's enough time? Think that will save the party?

15. Oh, that's a beauty.
Yeah... that helps heal party divides.

I've got a 90 post thread up saying in part that Edwards is a pretty decent guy that might be able to attract some Dean supporters if Dean doesn't win the nomination, and you come along with this divisive crap.

Very nice. I'm sure Sen. Edwards appreciates your help and support.

19. Some rules you may have overlooked
1. If you start a thread in the General Discussion forum, you must present your opinion in a manner that is not inflammatory, which respects differences in opinion, and which is likely to lead to respectful discussion rather than flaming. Some examples of things which should generally be avoided are: unnecessarily hot rhetoric, nicknames for prominent Democrats or their supporters, broad-brush statements about groups of people, single-sentence "drive-by" thread topics, etc.

2. The subject line of a discussion thread must accurately reflect the actual content of the message.

5. If you post an article or other published content which is from a conservative source or which expresses a traditionally conservative viewpoint, you must state your opinion about the piece and/or the issues it raises.

21. YOU posted that headline on DU
Or are you going to claim the people that put together the other website burst into your home and forced you at gunpoint to enter their headline into your computer under your account?

Lots of neo-cons post lots of head line that aren't allowed at DU, too.

17. I'd Vote For Chelsea Instead of Bush*
I'd also vote for Dean, Clark, Kerry, Braun, Kucinich, Sharpton, Lieber-woman, Gepfart, Hillary or any muthaflankin' democrat that runs!

Bash Dean all you want, he's a dem and if he gets the nod I'm voting for him. This is not a simplistic view, it's a realist view. Of all the things to discuss like WMD lies, war crimes, O'Neill outing the Iraq conspiracy etc..., you instead chose to equate the leading democrat with suicide.

I choose to equate all the dem candidates with the only choice we have to avoid fascism, economic depression, permanent war, terrorist attacks, destruction of social programs, racism and 1984-type doublespeak.

Great job bashing a dem, if anything spells suicide for the democratic party it's dem-bashers.

22. Hillary's not running.
Make no mistake about it. I'll support and campaign for any DEM who's nominated. But, if Lieberman is nominated, I might be living in Costa Rica by then. I support Howard Dean with both my time and checkbook. But, I am losing a lot of respect for some candidates over a lot of the attacks.

Al Sharpton used to have some good one-liners, and added some substance to the debates, but can anyone say Tawana Brawley? I think John Edwards would make a great VP. Kerry, who probably has the most experience of the group just comes off as too pompous. Time has passed Gephardt by, and he's been too much of a Bush enabler to get my vote. Mosley-Braun might make a good Sec. of State, but even though she apologized, she's still portrayed as a dictator hugger(refering to Abacha as a "friend"?). Clark leaves too many questions unanswered. He was a great military man, but how much do we really know about him. Maybe I can be convinced, maybe not. Dennis Kucinich is probably the only genuine progressive running, but I'm from Cleveland originally, and he has a lot of skeletons in his closet.

That leaves the good doctor. Howard Dean has mobilized the base of this party like no one has ever done, and you're beginning to see a phenomenon like the Reagan Democrats. Only it's the Dean Republicans.
I work in our county (in Florida) DEM HQ every Monday, returning calls from over the week-end. We get a lot of Republicans that can't support Bush anymore, and they ALL ask about Dean.
