Kerry wins 133 to 22 in mock election
Monday, October 18, 2004
By SANDRA JOHNSON-BOHANNAN

BRIDGETON -- The students at Cherry Street School have picked their president.

Senator John Kerry won Friday's mock election by a landslide -- 133 to 22.

Every student did their homework, so to speak, and knew exactly who they wanted to vote for, and why.

"I feel good that I could vote for a new president and to stop the war, because I have family members over in the war, and I want them to hurry up and come back before they die," Marvin Munson, 13, said. "I voted for John Kerry, so he can bring them back."

2. Thanks for posting this
It's how all of the children's election results should be--a landslide for Kerry.

4. I met a charming 4th grader
yesterday at our church fall festival who explained in great detail why she didn't like B*sh -- because he was a spoiled rich brat who didn't understand or know people who weren't rich like himself.
I think little Mabel Rose was right on target!
