Has anyone reported the internals of the Gallup poll?
Sorry if this has already been addressed, but usually by this time after the release of a Gallup poll the internals/party sampling %'s have been reported somewhere. I haven't been able to find a discussion of them since the newest poll's release, however. Does anyone know what they are yet?

Not quite as large as it has been historically. Not that I still don't think they slant their polls in Bush's favor (and were doing so in this one as well), but with a larger disparity it would be easier to point out.

Actually, if you break down the oversampling and apply it to RVs, it produces a virtual tie in the race, which is what most other polls are showing. So I would guess that was their real result, with the misleading LV result of course being the one that the pundits push.

5. It is very slanted when you consider that there are far more...
...REGISTERED Dems than there are registered GOPers. Gallup is using their favorite tactic of "likely voters", which does NOT take into account the huge number of newly registered Dems, and does not take into account the number of GOPers that will either not vote or swing to Kerry.

2. What they did was they took a poll on how "enthusiastic"
supporters were of each candidate, and then they used that poll to SKEW the likely voter turnout.

Basically, they did everything they could to skew the poll for Bush.
