Look, here's what CNN did for their poll, if my theory is correct: |
|
They took the regular presidential poll, but along with it they took an "enthusiasm" poll. The Bush supporters somehow came out with better enthusiasm numbers than the Kerry supporters, and then CNN *transferred* those numbers over and created their "likely voter" poll with it.
Basically, they were TRYING to find a way to skew the poll for Bush by doing this "enthusiasm" poll.
And then they come out and say not that they skewed the poll, but that the likely voter poll shows that Bush supporters are- you guessed it- more ENTHUSIASTIC than Kerry supporters, and marvel at the difference between the RV and the LV.

1. I almost puked when Mr. Smiley Face |
|
from the AEI was gushing over the "enthusiasm of the Bush voters"...he said that Democrats are now demoralized because they "think" Kerry can't win, so they probably will stay home...
he was so pleased with himself - this POS should flush himself down the toilet

4. Utterly unscientific, if true. |

If you want to compare two variables it has to be done from the same sample.

6. Kerry leads Bush 2:1 among the 60% of reg'd voters who don't ever vote. |
|
He's behind Bush by one point among the 40% who regularly vote, and he's behind by 4% among the people who always vote and who are most enthusiastic about this election.
It's SOOOO important to phone bank and precinct walk. Those are the best ways to get people out to vote. Democrats have to do that this year if we're going to win.

5. That's exactly what they did. They're trying to figure out who's showing.. |
|
...up to vote.
There's nothing wrong with it.
But what it does show is that DEMS MUST PHONE BANK AND CANVASS THIS WEEKEND, NEXT WEEKEND, AND NOV 1 AND 2.

8. Obviously they don't know democrats |
|
because we are enthusiastic about getting rid of bush and so are the hundreds of thousands of ABB voters(non-dems). We are also determined and don't give up. I'm personally ignoring the polls-I am voting for Kerry and continuing to lobby my bush leaning acquantances until the polls close.
