CHENEY MAY FEIGN HEART ATTACK TO GAIN ELECTION EDGE
not sure if this is the right place for this but it could explain Cheney popping the pill at the debate.

"Believe it or not, DMY has uncovered a Bush & Cheney strategy for Cheney to pull a “Bob Roberts,”* faking a heart attack to gain a sympathetic edge in this tight election if the polls do not drastically change by the last week in October, according to a confidential source close to the Oval Office—and DMY. In fact, our source says that Cheney will try to blame the faux heart attack on Kerry bringing up Mary Cheney’s sexual orientation in the last debate. Disgusting but true. And completely in character for these creeps. "

"Our source says they will tap John McCain for the VP spot, a sure shot to clinching the election. It’s unclear whether McCain knows about the plan or not. While it’s long been a rumor that Bush will dump Cheney and take on McCain, this is a backdoor way for them to do it without looking desperate for a new face on the ticket."

May this be the October Surprise? I've wondered why there have been so many photo ops with Bush and McCain practically up each others armpits.

2. He popped a pill at the debate ?
I missed that.

Edwards should have said something about The VP not being in solid enough health to be 'a heartbeat away' ...

25. The objective is to get McCain on the ticket as VP
Let's see:
Jeb announces he's not running for Pres in '08.
This clears the way for McCain to run as VP in '04 and then Pres in '08. Incentive for McCain to be second fiddle to Bush in '04 in exchange for a run for him for Pres in '08
What to do about Cheney, hmmm.
Feign health problems that cause him to drop out.
If all else fails, this will be the October Suprise.

I doubt Cheney has the acting skills to pull this off. Maybe if he can get his doctor in on it...

Why would anyone want a VP that is THAT unhealthy? It would backfire IMO.

10. Cheney Pops One for Edwards

Cheney Pops One for Edwards

First there was the Mystery of the Bulge, a blogger-generated "controversy" about whether President Bush wore a hidden wire during his first debate with Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.). The implication, of course, was that Bush advisers Karl Rove or Karen Hughes were coaching Bush during the debates. The White House has laughingly dismissed Bulgegate as absurd.

But now there's a new mystery that some eagle-eyed viewers noticed just after the debate between Vice President Cheney and Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.). It happened while the families were up on the stage, congratulating and hugging their candidates and then wandering about desperately pretending they don't despise one another.

Cheney, we're told, reached into his pocket and appeared to pull out a pill and swallow it. Given his ticker ailments, might this be a nitroglycerin pill for his heart? Tums? A jelly bean? The bloggers doubtless were gearing up for Pillgate.

A Cheney campaign spokeswoman said Friday it was a "breath mint."

12. Why should he "feign" a heart attack?
Old Crashcart's just a frayed electrical wire away from the Big One as it is. A little tinkering with his Mr. Coffee and he's off to the Great Oil Rush in the Sky.

13. well, it's like this
i live in repuke land in Nevada and the repukes I know were hoping all summer that cheney would fake a heart attack and let Bush annoint condi or mccain as VP. They believed this would secure Bush's re-annointment. I swear, this is what I heard these people say. So when I got this emailed to me today, I thought, gee, desperate times, eh?? I don't believe these jerks are going to let go of the white house and will do anything to keep it.

15. Wouldn't he actually have to have a heart before he could have
a heart attack. I'm pretty sure that ole' Cheney had that removed years ago along with his soul and conscience and all those other pesky things like morals.

17. Cheney has already feigned love of his daughter . . .
If Cheney truly loved his daughter, how could he in good conscience serve on the same ticket with someone who wanted to permanently consign his daughter to second class status?

18. McCain two faced
Interesting, but McCain has discredited himself with his pandering to Bush. For what they did to him and his child in the South Carolina Primary in 2000, and now his total submissive ass kicking of Bush proves he is not a man of principle. I thought he had integrity and I would have voted for McCain in Calif in 2000 but no - I now have to change the channel when I see him on now.

24. My mom
Even my mom has turned on McCain and is now a full-fledged Kerry supporter. She used to LOVE McCain and despise both Bush and Kerry. But she got sick of McCain going back and forth (slamming the swifties and then taking a big wet kiss from Bush on the trail, etc.). I don't think people like my mom will ever feel the same about McCain. And I do feel bad for her about that. More disillusionment for the masses ...

On one hand, taking this seriously would be inconsistent with my view that Taiwan's Chen Shui-bian faking his own assassination to gain sympathy was far-right Kuomintang hooey.

But only an ABSOLUTE NEO-NAZI DUMBFUCK would put the far-right Kuomintang and PFP on the same level of trust as American progressives.

23. I can see that two weeks to go and the "wacky" factor is going to
be out of control around here soon.

We are going nuts. I understand. I'm laughing just a little too maniacally at these responses.

Sympathy for the devil?? Nah wait, that's not fair, Cheney's an alien, not the grim reaper. Apologies to the reaper.
