Monday morning office check-in: another Republican in the office for Kerry

One of our portfolio managers has recently come around, and this morning he forwarded to me, with his message of approval, the NYT endorsement of Kerry (which, by the way, I had forwarded to about 40 friends already this morning. What turned this Republican around? Probably has something to do with the premium he places on rationality. Might also have something to do with the economy being in the shittr. Probably has most to do with the fact that this fellow has recently become a father; he now cares a bit more about the future.

If he is rational that would scare him into changing his vote to Kerry.

Everybody should read the full article (11 pages) on Kerry last week and the one on Bush yesterday. How could anyone vote for Bush unless you are a fundy, "rapture" person?
