$18.00 a dose for Flu Shots- This is the cost to the hospital
I work at. I just got my flu shot. My hospital just bought shots for 2100 high risk employees, at $18.00 per dose. Do the math. Almost 38,000.00 to protect hospital employees. Next time Smirk accuses trial lawyers for upping medical costs, someone needs to stick a great big brick up his butt.

I am furious. Normal cost is $4.80 per dose.

1. Yep - can't have that SOCIALIZED medicine
...Like the US Military has.

But even at the rip-off cost of $18/dose, it beats getting the FLU I must say.

that they have been ripped off. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

3. Not to mention
the medical costs of treating all of those who will get ill this season because they couldn't get a shot, and that'll probably cost more that $18.00 a person. The parking lot of the hospital I work at was more crowded than I've ever seen - all with older folks coming for flu shots. Construction just finished on auxilliary parking, and I still had to find street parking and walk.

5. There are going to be a LOT of sick people this winter
There are a lot of 'vectors' that can't get vaccines this year, like cab drivers, bus drivers, public school teachers, etc...

Whatever hits us this year is going to spread MUCH faster than in the past.
