Great pics of Edwards rally in Ft Myers, FL today

It was awesome! Imagine a bright and sunny day at a park right on the water. The event was originally designed for 2000 people and tickets were required. The crowd far exceeded 2000 and the organizers scrambled to get everyone in. The topic was supposed to be health care, but Edwards took the first few minutes to blast Bush on his new terror stump speech. IMHO the best part was when Edwards told us his favorite moment in the debates - the time when Bush looked at the moderator and asked "Is my time up yet?" The crowd went wild! You could just feel the energy. Things are looking good even in this heavily Repug part of the state.

Thanks SW FL Dem! I was that close to him too way back in June before he got on the ticket. He gives me so much hope.

I already voted for Kerry/Edwards. As of today he's my Vice President.

here in FL. Turnout was amazing. I waited in line for an hour and when I left, the line was as long as it was when I arrived.

I liked when everyone sang patriotic songs, while waiting for Edwards, including the national anthem.

What a great day in Ft. Myers! I'm running the Dunbar office, and right now, we have a couple guys out on MLK by the Supervisor of Elections office with a 4' x 8' Kerry-Edwards sign in the median.
