Thus the scorched-earth policy GOP there. Those ads are a brazen attempt to stem a Kerry surge in the state. The jobs issue there is a swift kick in the nuts for Bush as everybody there knows or is related to someone who's lost their gig. The dismissal of their troubles and belittling of the problems has p*ssed these people off. So, he's gotta try to mobilize his doily-hatted base...which ain't gonna cut it there.
