I'm sick of the voter suppression efforts the GOP thinks they can just get away with. Here's the latest egregious example in Philadelphia:

We've got to do everything we can to prove to people in black communities that these efforts are a direct slap in their face as the rich white suburban republicans figure out ways to disenfranchise them or cause them to lose interest.

HELLPPPPP!!!!!!!!! I'm so sick of this shit I can't even think straight. I want every one of you on this board to at least write a letter to the editor to your local paper, call your friends to secure their promise to vote, and in general do SOMETHING to make a difference.

If you are doing innercity canvassing consider using poor man's advertising ie. flyers on utility poles. I have been using the flyer below for 2 days now and bystanders are all asking for personal copies because they love it so much. It's rude but true. I use 3M spray adhesive from Staples to attach it to metal utility poles at bus stops and high foot traffic street corners.

5. you are correct. but let me just say this..empathy is good....

imagining walking in shoes of a black person in Alabama in 1950 is good...imagining you are a homeless person and what that must be like is good...imagining you are a gay person suffering attacks is empathetic...

But NONE of us can know the anger and outrage of someone else to the extent they do.

When you yourself are the subject of a humiliation, of oppression, of persecution...you will naturally care deeply as you are wounded to your very soul.

So, yes. We should all feel outrage. but the people who this is primarily directed against should rise up and tell the world they won't be politically alienated and cheaply pushed to the side like this. THEY MUST!
