I can't believe people still watch CNN |
|
CNN sucks! How can you still watch that channel? I learned to turn it off and delete it from my Tivo list of channels a looooooong time ago.
It's like my tv doesn't even know it exists. Writing CNN letters complaining will not stop CNN because they know you still watch them. Not watching CNN will not only make you feel better because you won't listen to their crap but it will HURT THEM!
All of cable news suck! Turn it off! You will feel better. I guarantee it.
Now for comforting news, I overheard a registered voter talking on her cell phone in the street saying that she was not going to vote but she decided to vote today because she hates Bush and the polls show that bush is "ahead". So, the supposedly good poll numbers for Bush is creating some new likely voters out there to vote Bush out.

2. I can't believe people still watch TV!!! |

We gave it up in our house three years ago and don't miss it a bit. We're very well-informed through other sources and don't have to wallow in the repeated non-stories -- almost always negative -- endlessly recited by idiots.
If you're feeling disillusioned, powerless, scared, or out of control, just switch off the tube for a week.* I guarantee your attitude will improve.
*Also, check to make sure you've taken your meds. :-)

It sucks for getting news, because they do such a bad job as we all know.

...we miss, but, on the balance, it's been worth it to us to avoid TV entirely. We have kids reading at several grade levels higher than their peers and we have much more time for family and community involvement. My wife has just completed a long-delayed book by using her former "TV time" to write. I like the extra $600 a year I have in my pocket, since we don't pay cable fees.

|
...was last November. It was CNN Headline News and they telling people - in some detail - how to eat Thanksgiving dinner! " Well, just eat one serving then take a break, walk around.." Mother of God!!!

5. I'll watch Lou Dobbs--that's it. |

And on MSNBC I'll watch Keith Olbermann. That is the extent of my news viewing on cable news these days!

i'm informed and educated. the spew is filtered out as soon as it reaches my ears. it's like water off a ducks back. i watch for the 5% of what's on that actually is news or otherwise informative. (sad to have to say otherwise informative..... when is BBC going to start their own US cable network? they'd blow FOX MSGOP and CNN out of the water.)

MSNBC (never did watch), Fox News (are you kidding?), CNN have nothing to offer you. Stop watching them and they will die a slow death.
USA Today on the other hand should be sued for today's fraudulent headline.

12. This DUer DOESN'T watch it. AT ALL. |
|
My common sense tells me more than their unscientific polls & propaganda. One needs only to consider the huge crowds attending Kerry's/Edwards' campaign rallies, as opposed to Dubya's. (I hear that Dubya's stump speech shown on CNN today is not showing camera shots of the audience & it appears that the applause is canned.)
And I do hope their Bush-is-ahead, unscientific polls that they like to mention so much DO put the fire under a lot of disgusted Americans.
There ain't no way that idiot is ahead -- NO WAY.
